Search For Soccer Stars 2017 In The Gambia Postponed

The Search For Soccer Star 2017 event which was schedule to kickoff in the Gambia this May has been postponed and a new date will be announced immediately the Muslim fasting is finished.

G-Tech Football Academy Over The Weekend Visits CRR And URR In Search For Soccer Stars 2016 In The Gambia

Football Trials In Basse and BansangG-Tech Football Academy on Friday 21st August 2016 embarked on Search For Soccer Stars in the Central River Region and the Upper River Region.

The delegation headed by My Enakeno Keno Arausi were welcomed by the General Secretary of the URR Football Association, Mr Lamin Sanneh and the first vice president Mr Masaneh Jawara respectively.

They were delighted to receive G-Tech as the first football academy from the Kombos to embarked on such events to search for young talented football players in the Region and urged them to continue the good work so as the youth could have something to do and focus.

11 players were selected from the trial at the Basse Mini Stadium.

The delegation later moved to Bansang the next day were they were welcomed by Mr Ebou Saine, Technical Director of Bansang Football Association.

Himself and Mr Numukunda Kanyi, The President of Bansang Football Association said that the G-Tech is such a cooperate football Academy that know what real talent is all about as they were move the way the G-Tech officials organized the players and selected those that were capable to play in the professional world of football and 20 players were selected.

The final trial is slated in September and October 2016 were the international football scouts and agent will be visiting the Gambia.

Continuing their national talent hunt, the G-Tech Football Academy last weekend visited Madina-Mayamba and Farafenni in the North Bank Region.

The delegation headed by Director Enakeno Keno Arausi was welcomed by the Alkalo of the Village Mr Alhajie Muniru Nyang and the elders of the community who were amazed to have witnessed a spectacle in their village as G-tech coaches and technicians went to work.

“I have never seen a thing like this in my Village for about 18 years now. I am very impressed about the performance of the young talents I have seen here.

I must thank G-Tech Football Academy for standing for the youths Alkalo said.

Ebou Loum, president of the local football said:, “I thank G-Tech and the Sponsors, Coca Cola as we can see their logos been displayed all round the field “We are very happy and definitely talents are here, the problem is how to nurture them I am a train coach with a C-License .I have been coaching for many years, but the support is lacking“.

G-Tech Football Without Boarders Hunt For Players In Serrekunda, The Gambia

G-Tech Football Trials in The Gambia

The Senegambia based G-Tech football academy has started a roller coaster hunting for football talents with a mega event that goes around the country in the coming week.

The mega football search for talents started at the Serekunda West Park when crowd of players, officials and admirers defied torrential rains Tuesday to partake in this developmental project that is aim at scouting and indentifying football brains around the country.

According to the organisers the exercise targets players, from 15 to 22 years and will move to Bansang Town field from August 1 – 2.

G-Tech Academy Gambia Launches New Brand Search For Soccer Stars 2016

Search for Soccer Players AfricaG-Tech Academy recently launched a new brand called Talent Hunt Search for Soccer Stars.

G-Tech as a football team and football academy is out to groom, nurture, promote and develop talents of 15- to 22-year-olds.

The Academy is bracing up for a nationwide scouting starting from Greater Banjul, to West Coast Region and the Provinces. The scouting process, which will commence on 23rd July through 6th August 2016, is set to attract international scouts from abroad during the course of the process.

Senegal – Diouf Ready To Support Gambia Football

African Football Player El Hadji Ousseynou DioufSenegalese footballer El Hadji Ousseynou Diouf has expressed his readiness to work with relevant Gambian football stakeholders in making Gambia football one of the best in Africa.

Speaking to reporters in an interview at the Seaview Hotel on Monday, Diouf, who is in the country at the invitation of the Sports Journalist Association of The Gambia, said he is ready to give is experience and power to help transform Gambian football into becoming one of the best in Africa in the near future.

The two-time African footballer of the year noted that he finds it had to believe that The Gambia is yet to make its Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup appearances with the talented young players the country has.

He pointed out that The Gambia’s failure to make an Africa Cup of Nations appearance is “abnormal”, adding that with the young talents the country has it is time The Gambia stepped up on the big stage of football.

G-Tech Football Academy Summer Camp Awards In Senegambia, The Gambia

G-Tech Football Academy in The Gambia 2The ward followed a month long summer training camp conducted by the Academy during which kids were trained on various methods, techniques and skills in football.

There were certificates for participants from  the Under -4  category to the Under -12  players .

Help Children Discover A Passion for Sport And Build Their Future Potential

$30 a month will help a child receive life skills development and a fun environment to enjoy sport.

$50 a month will provide two children in our programs a meal everyday for a year.

$100 a month will provide a child with a full year participating in our Junior School of Excellence, receiving sports coaching, life skills classes, personal mentoring, a meal everyday and the opportunity to get a place at a top level high school.

Sc Heerenveen Team in Netherland Partner With G-Tech In Gambia

Football Academy in GambiaDe jongeren van ‘G-Tech football academy’ uit Gambia, voetballen tegenwoordig in sc Heerenveen-shirts.

Feansjop-medewerker Joop van Dijk en zijn vrouw Truus regelden de tenues en een paar sc Heerenveen-ballen voor de voetballers.

Het stel komt jaarlijks in Gambia en kwam in contact met de academie in het Gambiaanse Kololi.

De kinderen zijn super blij en Joop en Truus ontvingen zelfs een speciale dankbrief van de academie.
